Kerala not to allow bid to disrupt peace

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Kerala Government will not allow anyone to disrupt peace and communal harmony in the State, Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan has said. He was making a statement in the Assembly on Friday about the attack on the Kottakkal police station by National Development Front (NDF) activists on Thursday. NDF activist Syed Ahammed was arrested from Edavanna in connection with the death of an RSS activist Lekshmanan and brought to the police station. A group of NDF activists, who reached the station demanding his release, attacked the station.
