Tata BP Solar plant in Bangalore

BANGALORE : Tata BP Solar on Wednesday inaugurated a new 36 MW solar photovoltaic production line. The new line has seen TBPS more than double its cell manufacturing capacity to reach some 50 MW per annum. The next phase of expansion will see 128 MW of cell manufacturing capacity added during 200-08, says a release. The company's board has approved investments that will nearly double the facility's module manufacturing capacity for from 45 MW to 85 MW by end-2007, adds the release.
