JEE will have only two papers this year

Special Correspondent

NEW DELHI: As part of the efforts to ease the pressure on students appearing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology, this year there will be only two papers, instead of three.

In place of one question paper each for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, there will be a mix of questions from the three subjects in the two-paper examination, scheduled for April 8. The duration will remain six hours, three each.
