Plan to develop Hosur Circle soon

HUBLI: The City Infrastructure Improvement Committee (CIIC) has asked the Executive Engineer of Public the Works Department, Hubli, to submit a detailed proposal in a month on the comprehensive development of Hosur Circle in Hubli.

The meeting of the committee, attended by Hubli-Dharwad Municipal Corporation Commissioner P. Manivannan, Police Commissioner Narayan Nadamani and senior officials of various departments and representatives of non-governmental organisations, felt the proposal for the development of the circle should be prepared under a separate head.

The meeting discussed at length the possibility of converting the old KSRTC Bus Stand in Hubli into a city bus stand. Divisional Controller of NWKRTC told the meeting that such a move would affect the revenue of the corporation.
