Seven more debarred

BELLARY: Seven more students were debarred from writing in the SSLC examination on Friday after they were caught copying.

Four teachers were suspended on Thursday for encouraging copying, according to a press release issued by Thippeswamy, DDPI. The release said that the DDPI had recommended for conducting re-examination of English (second language) paper following mass copying at the Government Pre-university College at Chornur village in Sandur taluk.

Hassan Staff Correspondent reports: A student was debarred from writing the SSLC examination on Friday at the Government PU Composite College in Paduvalahippe of Holenarsipur Taluk after he was caught copying during the English examination, according to a press release issued here. There were no incidents of examination malpractice in other centres.
