Kingston: Ireland was 77 for three after 21 overs against the West Indies in a Group `D' match of the ICC World Cup on Friday. Jeremy Bray was unbeaten on 37 off 69 balls. Paceman Daren Powell struck early for the host, snaring William Porterfield for nought. The battling Bray and Eoin Morgan (18) took the score to 61 when the latter was caught behind off Powell. Niall O'Brian (11) was pouched by wicket-keeper Denesh Ramdin off left-arm paceman Ian Bradshaw, with the score on 76. Both sides have qualified for the Super Eight stage. The contest will decide the group winner. Ireland skipper Trent Johnston had won the toss and chose to bat.
