CHANDIGARH: Launching a scathing attack on Amarinder Singh, All India Anti Terrorist Front chairman M.S. Bitta on Friday alleged that former Punjab CM had ``weakened'' Congress by ``harbouring'' people with militant ideology during his tenure. ``During his rule, Amarinder gave shelter to terrorists and even played significant role in getting party tickets for some former militants,'' Bitta told reporters here. Taking a dig at Amarinder for going abroad for ``medical treatment'' after his party's drubbing at the recent hustings, he said, ``Amarinder deserted fellow partymen and left for London like a coward at a time when he should have been in the state to defend the Congress.'' Questioning Amarinder's London visit, Bitta said ``Is he afraid of Punjab Vigilance Bureau or the present Parkash Singh Badal Govt.? '' - PTI
