Dr. Reddy's staff involved in misconduct

Special Correspondent

HYDERABAD: Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd. clarified on Friday that the two employees who were terminated were involved in "serious acts of misconduct". Responding to a report published in these columns on the strike by workers at Miryalaguda in Nalgonda district, a press release issued by the company maintained that services of the employees were terminated only after following the due procedure and after giving them a fair opportunity in the enquiry. It stated that the workers' allegations were `baseless' as the management had always been committed to employees' welfare.
