Court seeks action plan on Golconda upkeep

HYDERABAD: Officers from the HMWSSB and the MCH have been asked to appear before the High Court to explain the action plan to set things right in the Golconda fort. These orders were passed in a case wherein a letter written to the Chief Justice was treated as a writ petition. The petitioner complained that the fort had been neglected and sewage lines and garbage dumps were destroying it. The Bench took serious note of the issue and asked officers to submit the action plan to the court next week to protect the fort and remove the sewage and garbage dumps.
