Aid for farming

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Financial assistance will be provided to drip and sprinkler project implemented by the Agricultural Department through various Krishi Bhavans.

Up to 50 per cent of a unit's total expenditure will provided as subsidy, which means that for setting up a sprinkler an amount of Rs.7,500 will be provided as subsidy. Financial assistance will be provided to agricultural families with up to five hectares of land. A majority of the crops in the State including coconut tree, vegetables, cashew, medicinal plants, aromatic plants and coco are covered under the project. For details, call 2306748.
