KOCHI: The inquiry commission that is investigating the charge of alleged ragging at Ernakulam Government Law College took evidence from the girl student who had lodged the complaint, on Friday. In her complaint, the first semester student of the five-year LLB course alleged that a fifth semester student had been harassing her from the beginning of the academic year. A three-member team, headed by faculty member A.S. Saroja, is expected to submit its report to P. P. Paul, Principal, on Monday. The commission also sought an explanation from the fifth semester student alleged to be involved in the ragging case. Meanwhile, Girish Babu, a third semester student of the five-year LL.B programme, was admitted to the Medical Trust Hospital on Friday after he was allegedly attacked by the group accused to be involved in the ragging case. Mr. Babu, who is a reporter of the Madhyamam, was attacked in front of the office of the Principal. He said he was attacked him for publishing a report on the ragging case.
