Neo-natal tetanus eradicated

CHANDIGARH: Haryana has succeeded in eliminating neo-natal Health Minister Kartar Devi said on Saturday.

She said the Government had received a communication from Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare acknowledging that neo-natal tetanus had been eliminated from Haryana. The status would be maintained by promoting institutional deliveries and ensuring a high level of TT coverage among pregnant women.
