HYDERABAD: The issue of cross-voting in the elections to the Legislative Council found its echo in the Assembly on Saturday when P. V. Krishna Rao, Telugu Desam MLA from Kovvur in West Godavari district, submitted his resignation to Speaker K.R. Suresh Reddy. Another Telugu Desam member Erraballi Dayakar Rao handed over his resignation to the Speaker after Telugu Desam legislators stormed Mr. Suresh Reddy's chambers. They were protesting against the suspension of Mr. Dayakar Rao from the Assembly for flinging papers during a debate on the controversial Babli project by Maharashtra Government.
