Dasmunsi for restraint

Special Correspondent

P.R. Dasmunsi

NEW DELHI: As disappointed cricket fans took to the streets to vent their anger over India's loss to Sri Lanka in a World Cup group B match, Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Priyaranjan Dasmunsi on Saturday called for restraint.

Victory or defeat

In an appeal issued on Saturday, he said: ``In every game, national or international, there is victory and there is defeat. In real sportsman spirit, we should not make any demonstration before the houses of the players or harass their families.''
