Meet on e-governance

Puducherry: The Department of Management Studies, Pondicherry University, is holding a three-day national conference on, `Digital era governance and contemporary issues in new public management,' at the Convention and Cultural Centre of the University at Kalapet near here from March 26 (Monday).

Department head Prof. M. Basheer Ahmed Khan told newspersons on Saturday said delegates from government departments, public sector undertakings, non-governmental organisations, industries, University departments and research institutions would participate.

Union Minister of State for Law and Justice K. Venkatapathy would inaugurate the meet. Delegates from the State Planning Commission of Tamil Nadu and IT majors would participate.
