Puducherry: A total of 64 candidates have been selected for the post of women constables here. The selection was based on the results of a competitive examination held on December 3, 2006. A total of 29 candidates were selected initially. A release from the Joint Secretary (Home) A. Kullan said here on Friday that the competent authority lowered the criterion in the aggregate marks for candidates.
