Skeleton recovered at Kalinga Nagar township

BHUBANESWAR: Police on Saturday retrieved a skeleton from an unoccupied house in Kalinga Nagar township on the outskirts of city.

The skeleton believed to be of a woman was lying on the rooftop of the house, which was on Plot number 164.

Ladies dress materials and bangles were recovered near the skeleton. Khandagiri police registered an unnatural death case in this connection.

A month ago, police had recovered a partially decomposed body of a woman from another house on Plot number 152.

Isolated houses provide criminals perfect platform to carry out offences as police patrolling in the area was alleged to be inadequate.
