Theft at unit

BANGALORE: Burglars broke open the rolling shutters of a silk reeling unit in Basaveshwaranagar police station limits on Friday night and made away with raw silk and other goods worth Rs. 3 lakh. The theft took place at Lakshmi Silk Traders situated on Vani Vilas Garden on Kamalanagar Main Road.

Goods destroyed

Furniture and electronic goods worth Rs. 3 lakh were destroyed in a fire at a laundry in Jakkasandra Extension on Sarjapur Main Road in Koramangala police station limits on Saturday.
