Health drink outlet inaugurated

Staff Reporter

KADAPA: Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy inaugurated Café Cuddapah, a modern coffee shop and A. Sai Pratap, Rajampet MP, inaugurated Cane-O-La, an exclusive sugarcane health drink outlet near Koti Reddy circle here on Sunday.

The MP and Mayor lauded Mayura Group chairman and managing director G. Srinivasa Rao for promoting sugarcane juice as a nutritious health drink and thereby assisting farmers by procuring cane from them. Sugarcane juice was a natural product with medicinal properties and should be preferred over synthetic soft drinks that were said to be harmful to public health, they said.

G. Venkateswara Prasad, Kodur MLA, opened an ultra-modern kitchen. Mr. Srinivasa Rao explained that the coffee shop has an ultra modern kitchen and reputed chefs to serve vegetarian and non-vegetarian food products. The Mayura group has been in the business for the last three decades and accorded priority to hygiene, he added.
