Deputy Director of the PU Education Department G.H. Kattimani said that the department was in the process of constituting district- and taluk-level vigilance teams. It had set up a taluk-level committee under the leadership of the Sub-divisional Officer of the PU Education Department.

Centres

Mr. Kattimani said that the examination would be conducted at 22 centres in the district. Of these, six would be in Chitradurga taluk, four in Chelkere, five in Hosadurga, three each in Hiriyur and Holalkere, and one in Molkalmur. As many as six centres had been identified as sensitive and nine as extra-sensitive, he said.

He said both students and staff would be prohibited from carrying cell phones into the examination halls.
