Pacts signed with United Arab Emirates

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh welcomes UAE Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Makhtoum in New Delhi on Monday.
New Delhi:
India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday revised their agreement on double taxation avoidance (DTA) and signed a pact for exchange of information between the stock exchange regulators.
These accords, along with three others, were inked after talks between Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UAE Vice President and Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Makhtoum.
An MoU between the Bureau of Indian Standards and the Emirates Authority for Standardisation and Metrology was signed.
An MoU for technical cooperation in accreditation activities between the Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories and the Emirates Authority for standardisation and metrology was also signed.
