TIRUMALA: Sri Ramanavami festival was celebrated with religious fervour at the temple of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala, on Tuesday.
`Snapana Thirumanjanam' was conducted to the utsava deities of Lord Rama, Lakshmana and Sita at the Ranga Nayakula mandapam inside the temple complex in the morning. The deities were taken out in grand procession on `Hanumantha vahanam' around the mada streets encircling the holy shrine in the evening. Special rituals like - Purana pravachanam and Asthanam at `Bangaru Vakili' inside the sanctum sanctorum are slated for the night. According to the temple sources Sri Rama Pattabhishekam will be organised inside the temple on Wednesday followed by `visesha samarpana' to the deities.
