Rare surgeries performed

VISAKHAPATNAM : Doctors at Seven Hills Hospital claim to have performed a complex surgery of the liver without blood loss, recently.

Biswabasu Das, senior consultant, department of surgical gastroenterology, informed that a 45-year old woman from Chhattisgarh, diagnosed with cancer in gallbladder, was operated upon and there was no blood loss and nor there was any requirement of blood transfusion.

In a second case, a tumour was surgically removed from a 50-year-old man using the similar technique.
