A road was being laid to link it to Kadapa-Rajampet highway. Bankers had sanctioned loans to 400 housing beneficiaries so far and were urged to grant loans to remaining beneficiaries by April second week, Mr. Krishna Babu said. Houses would be sanctioned to all eligible beneficiaries, Kadapa Mayor P. Ravindranath Reddy said adding that the township would benefit middle classes. In `Rajiv Swagruham' programme under the second phase of Rajiv Gruha Kalpa, some 3,000 to 4,000 houses would be constructed for middle classes in urban areas, he said.
