KANNUR: A woman passenger was fatally run over by a train when she fell on the tracks while trying to get off from the moving train in panic at the railway station here early on Tuesday. The deceased was identified as V.M. Latha, a home nurse hailing from Wayanad. The Railway police said that she was travelling in the lady's compartment of the Thiruvananthapuram-Varavel Express. She boarded the train from Thiruvananthapuram.
