`Gandhian ideology relevant'

NARSAPUR: An orientation programme on Gandhian ideology was organised for schoolteachers at Mogaltur near here on Tuesday under the aegis of the Gandhi Study Centre, Y.N. College.

Over one hundred teachers from different schools participated.

MEO V. Karunakara Rao highlighted the relevance of Gandhian ideology in the present day world. I. Satyasundaram of Nagarjuna University and resource person of the programme also spoke. "Political leaders are limiting themselves only to celebrating birth and death anniversaries of Gandhiji without emulating him in day-to-day life," he lamented.
