Thomas Mar Coorilos
PATHANAMTHITTA: Muvattupuzha Bishop Thomas Mar Coorilos has been appointed Metropolitan Archbishop of the Thiruvalla Archdiocese of the Syro-Malankara Catholic Church. The declaration by Major Archbishop and Catholicos Baselios Cleemis announcing the appointment was read out by Chancellor of the Archdiocese Issac Parappallil at a customary function held at St. John's Cathedral in Thiruvalla on Monday afternoon. The appointment follows the elevation of the first Archbishop of Thiruvalla, Isaac Mar Cleemis, as the Major Archbishop and Catholicos.
