KOCHI: JSS president A.N. Rajan Babu has condemned CPI leader Veliyam Bhargavan's statement that allegedly undermined the role played by K.R. Gouri in bringing about the land reforms Act. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, Mr. Rajan Babu said Mr. Veliyam's statement amounted to gross disrespect to a veteran leader who had pioneered land reforms in Kerala. He alleged that the CPI had sabotaged Ms. Gouri's move for introducing land reforms by toppling the second EMS Ministry through defection.
