Not against the court: Vijayakumar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs M. Vijayakumar claimed here on Tuesday that the resolution passed by the Assembly, over the warrant issued for arrest of Power Minister A.K. Balan, was not against the court.

The Minister told mediapersons that Mr. Balan had prayed for exemption from appearance in the magistrate court, as he had to attend the Assembly. However, the court ignored the prayer.
