IIT Madras inks pact with Autodesk

CHENNAI: The Indian Institute of Technology-Madras (IIT-M) and U.S.-based Autodesk, a leading design software and digital solutions company, have set up a centre of excellence for innovative design and research.

A memorandum of understanding between the two was signed here on Sunday.

Autodesk would be investing Rs.1 crore on developing the Centre, which was inaugurated on Sunday.

With this, IIT-M students would have access to and could participate in discussion forums in the Autodesk's online community.
