Assistance distributed

KOCHI: The Corporation on Tuesday distributed aids and financial support to disabled persons and mentally challenged students on Tuesday.

While 280 persons were provided with equipment, 200 white canes were distributed to visually challenged persons. The 409 students of the nine special schools supported by the Corporation received financial assistance of Rs.5,000 each at the function.

Mercy Williams, Mayor, inaugurated the meeting.
