Husband, in-laws held in dowry case

NEW DELHI:
A 28-year-old daughter of an under-secretary with the Union Ministry of Rural Development allegedly hanged herself at her Munirka residence here on Monday.
The police have arrested her husband and parents-in-law on charges of harassing her for dowry.
Manisha, daughter of Devendrapal Singh, allegedly committed suicide on Monday night.
Her father lodged a complaint with the Vasant Vihar police alleging that she was tortured for dowry by her husband, Amit Wadhwa, father-in-law Hari Gopal and mother-in-law Bina.
She was married to Amit Wadhwa in 2001 and they have child who is now three years old.
