U.S. honour for Kalam

NEW DELHI: President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was presented the Crane Summit Supreme Honor Crown Medallion by the U.S. World Academy of Arts and Culture and World Congress of Poets at the Rashtrapati Bhavan here on Wednesday.

He was also given a Chinese Royal Calligraphy Scroll, a poetry and music book and a newly published bilingual book of poems, Wings of Fire, Profile and Poems of Dr. Kalam, President of India. His books have been edited and translated into Chinese by M. Young, Secretary-General of World Academy of Arts.
