Anil Khanna re-elected

NEW DELHI: The secretary-general of the All India Tennis Association (AITA), Anil Khanna, has been re-elected as the president of the Asian Tennis Federation in its annual general meeting held in Bangkok.

Suresh Subramaniam of Sri Lanka and Gilbert NG Mui Soon of Singapore were elected as the secretary general and treasurer respectively.

In the AGM, it was decided to hold a $2,00,000 Asian Masters event at Bangkok in November on the lines of the ITF Masters. Another event, the Asian Open with a prize fund of $2,00,000 has also been announced by the president of ATF.
