Workshop for teachers

Environment Support Group will conduct a three-day experimental workshop on the theme "Water, waste and our land" from April 13 for teachers handling environment education for students from 4 to 10 standards. The workshop is aimed at helping teachers understand some major environmental and social issues and develop teaching methods. Call 26531339.

Free eye screening

Kannada classes

BSNL towers

To improve its mobile network in Bangalore Rural District, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) commissioned mobile towers in Tippasandra and Madagondanahalli of Magadi taluk, Mayaganahalli of Ramnagara taluk and Mudugere of Channapatna Taluk. According to an official press release, BSNL's mobile customers are expected to benefit from these base stations because the coverage would improve in these areas.
