M&M inaugurates blanking line facility

MUMBAI : Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra on Thursday inaugurated its Rs. 50 crore blanking line facility in Nashik to process steel coils for use in automotive body profiles. Mahindra Intertrade Limited (MIL), which is a part of the group's trade and financial services sector, has set up the facility.

Besides processing steel coils, MIL's facility would process rectangular and trapezoidal sheets required for press shop operations, a company release says.

It will also look at export of profiles to Southeast Asia, adds the release.
