Corrections and Clarifications

In a report "Jain case: disclose file, rules [Central Information Commission] CIC" (March 27, 2007), the name of former Chief Justice of India Justice P.N. Bhagwati was incorrectly given as Justice P.K. Bhagwati.

A standalone photograph (Delhi edition, March 28, 2007, page 3) was titled "Autumn is here", while the caption was "Changing Times: After winter, it is now the turn of autumn and trees have started shedding leaves. Here is the scene at Leisure Valley in Chandigarh on Tuesday." Autumn precedes winter! It should have been "Spring is here ... ."

In The Hindu Crossword 8870 (March 26, 2007), clue 5 Down was "Lee opens gate for small birds of prey (7)". The solution (March 27, 2007) was "Eaglets", which a reader points out was not possible to get from the clue "Lee + Gate". The clue had what is called an anagram discrepancy.
