Govt. notifies reduction in CST

NEW DELHI: The Union Government on Thursday notified a reduction in the Central Sales Tax (CST) on inter-State sale to registered dealers to 3 per cent from 4 per cent with effect from April 1. The notification will also enable states to levy VAT on tobacco.
