Morientes ruled out of Chelsea clash

Mallorca: Valencia striker Fernando Morientes will miss both legs of the Champions League quarterfinals against Chelsea because of a dislocated right shoulder.

Morientes ran into a post in the 38th minute of Spain's 1-0 win over Iceland in a European Championship qualifier on Wednesday.

National team doctor Genaro Borras said Morientes' shoulder will need to stay immobilised for two weeks and he is likely to be sidelined for three to four weeks.— AP
