BIDAR: The Bidar police arrested three persons and recovered jewellery and other valuables worth Rs. 7 lakh in Bidar on Thursday. Names of the accused have been given as Sanju Vithal Rao (28), Issac Mohammad Shabir (27), and Satish Shankar Christine (30). Superintendent of Police Ravi S. told presspersons that they were involved in 20 robbery cases. He said 400 gm of gold jewellery, silver valued at Rs. 20,000, and home appliances such as TVs, DVDs and gas cylinders worth Rs. 4 lakh were stolen. The SP congratulated the teamand announced an award of Rs. 5,000. Similarly, a jeep worth Rs. 1.3 lakh was recovered from three accused Jagannath Eadaga, Kishan Rajput and Maruti Rajput.
