Appointed Sambalpur DRM

BHUBANESWAR: Eastern Railway's chief electrical loco engineer Binoy Kumar has taken over charge of Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of East Coast Railway (ECoR), Sambalpur, recently.

Mr. Patel, who belongs to 1978 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Electrical Engineers, succeeded Anand Kumar who was transferred to South Central Railway, Secunderabad, an ECoR release said here.

The 52-year-old officer had done his Masters in Technology in electrical engineering from IIT, Kanpur, in 1980.

Mr. Patel has vast experience in electric loco maintenance and operation and held various important posts in South Eastern Railway, Research Design and Standards Organisation, Chittaranjan Locomotive Works and Eastern Railway.
