JAIPUR: President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam will pay a one-day visit to Rajasthan on Friday to attend a programme at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, and later to join Rajasthan Day celebrations at Janpath here in the State capital in the evening. Reaching Pilani around 2-30 p.m., Dr. Kalam will visit the BITS library and meet students and faculty members in the auditorium. Later in Jaipur, the President will visit the premises of Prayas, an NGO imparting education and vocational training to differently-abled children, along with Rajasthan Governor Pratibha Patil and Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. Dr. Kalam will join the closing ceremony pageant of the weeklong celebrations of Rajasthan Diwas, which will have the best of Rajasthan on show.
