Free coaching for CET

University Coaching Centre will conduct free coaching for students appearing for Common Entrance Test (CET). Details could be had at the centre, 283, 20th Main, Marenahalli Main Road, Vijayanagar (ph: 23301613).

IT counters to be open

The Department of Income Tax will keep the return receipt counters in all buildings of the Income Tax Department, Karnataka and Goa on March 31 to accept income tax returns. A release said the counters will be open between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.

Silk dyeing and printing

The Central Silk Technological Research Institute will organise a 15-days training on silk dyeing and printing from April 2. A release said the programme covers various aspects involved in silk dyeing and printing besides different style of printing. Training will be provided at the institute remises on Hosur Road in B.T.M. Layout. Those interested may call 9449635102.

Papers invited

Papers have been invited for the second annual Max Planck-IISc International Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Economic Growth to be held at Indian Institute Science during October 2007. A release said the joint conference aims at bringing together work on sources of entrepreneurship, challenges in enabling and sustaining entrepreneurship and innovation issues in entrepreneurship culture.
