This Day That Age
The UN Security Council representative, Mr. Gunnar Jarring, and his adviser, Dr. J.F. Engers, left on March 30 for Karachi after spending a week in Delhi discussing the Kashmir issue with the Government of India. Mr. Jarring parried all questions by pressmen at the airport before he took off but indicated that he might stick to the schedule of April 15 fixed for him to report to the Security Council. Prior to his departure, Mr. Jarring conferred with Prime Minister Nehru for half an hour.
