Corrections and Clarifications

In a report "Making one computer work as hard as four" ("IT Trends — Science & Technology" page, March 29, 2007), the fifth paragraph was "Since then the Intel quad family has swelled to 11 processors, the latest low voltage Xeons unveiled in mid-March, require just 12.5 watts of power for each core — or less than 50 cores per chip compared to 80 and 120 watts of earlier versions." It should have been 50 watts per chip.
