NEW DELHI: Two legs of the Asian Grand Prix athletics series will be held in India, one in Guwahati on June 23 and the other in Pune on June 27. The circuit will begin at Bangkok on June 19. The National circuit meet has been renamed as Indian Grand Prix.
The AFI calendar (main events only): First Indian Grand Prix, Patiala, May 2; Federation Cup, New Delhi, May 10 to 13; Asian Grand Prix, Guwahati, June 23; Asian Grand Prix, Pune, June 27; National combined events and jumps championships, Pune, June 28 and 29; Federation Cup junior meet, Madurai, July 1 and 2; Second Indian GP, Patiala, September 5; Third Indian GP (venue to be announced), September 10; All-India inter-State meet, Bhopal, September 17 to 20; International throws meet, New Delhi, September 29 and 30; Junior inter-zonal meet, Guntur, October 11 to 13; National sprint and relay meet, Mumbai, October 15 and 16; Fourth Indian GP, Jamshedpur, October 19; Open National, Ranchi, October 24 to 27; National junior championships, Vijayawada, November 24 to 28; National endurance meet, Jamshedpur, December 20 to 24; National cross-country, Goa, February 10, 2008.
