KOCHI: Cochin Port Trust won its maiden all-India Major Ports table tennis title at Willingdon Island. Cochin, which had defeated the defending champions Kolkata in the league phase on Thursday, repeated the feat with a 3-2 verdict in the final on Friday. Last year's runner-up Mumbai won the bronze beating Visakhapatnam 3-1. Earlier in the semifinals, the host defeated Mumbai 3-2, while Kolkata beat Visakhapatnam 3-0. The three-day event concludes on Sunday.
