SBI tax offer

BHUBANESWAR : SBI on Friday said taxpayers could deposit their taxes at 254 branches across the state.

While 178 branches of bank accept direct taxes, 76 branches receive indirect taxes, a SBI release said here on Friday. Important centres including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Berhampur, Rourkela, Balasore, Bhawanipatna and Dhenkanal were having more than one authorised branch to collect various taxes, it said.
