NEW DELHI: A wide array of household products as well as exquisite handicrafts will be showcased at the four-day "Home and Beyond" show opening at India Expo Centre and Mart on the Greater Noida Expressway on April 15. Besides home decorative items, kitchenware, table lamps and lighting accessories and home appliances, it will also display ethnic and traditional furniture, cane and bamboo products, wall decorations, textiles and fabrics, carpets, floorings, embroideries and knits. "The past ten years have been the golden era for handicraft items in the export market. Earlier, exporters were reluctant to sell their products to domestic consumers but not any more as big companies like the US-based Wal-Mart are entering the Indian market," said Indian Exposition Mart Limited Managing Director Rakesh Kumar at a press conference here on Friday.
