TIRUCHI: Eight "People Friendly" policemen, all in the rank of Head Constables, serving in the Central Zone were presented with badges and a cash award of Rs.200 by the Inspector General of Police, Central Zone, M.S. Jaffar Sait, here on Friday. Kathasamy (Cantonment police station, Tiruchi city), Azhagar (Vaiyampatti police station, Tiruchi district), Mani (Kulithalai police station, Karur district), Kamaraj (Ariyalur police station, Perambalur district), Krishnasamy (Namanasamudram police station, Pudukottai district), Rajendran (Traffic Unit, Kumbakonam), Rajaraman (Tiruvarur Town police station) and Soundarajan (Nagore police station, Nagapattinam district) were the personnel who were felicitated.
